We are seeking a skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team to plan, coordinate, direct, and report on various IT and IT adjacent projects supporting large-scale government programs. As a Program Manager, you will report to the Program Director and collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to successfully drive projects to completion. This is a hybrid position and requires onsite work in DC, MD, VA area.Responsibilities:
Manage projects throughout their life cycle and drive projects to completion
Coordinate between customer contacts, team resources, direct team members, partners, subcontractors, and project stakeholders on all aspects of the projects
Manage, coordinate, and establish priorities for project completion
Design project plans which identify needs and define major tasks and milestones, based on scope, resources, budget, and personnel
Oversee project team members and assign tasks and responsibilities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field or applicable work experience
Secret security clearance
Project Management Professional certification
Eight years of program management experience, preferably in the government sector
Knowledge of project management methodologies i.e., Agile, Scrum, Lean
Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines and complete projects
