You make it your own by embracing autonomy, seizing opportunity, and being trusted to deliver your best every day.HOW A OPERATIONS DIRECTOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACTOur work depends on the National Security Sector’s (NSS) Operations Director joining our team to support sector and division activities. This position is potentially a rotational role. As an Operations Director, you will be trusted to support NSS Operations and work directly with the Sector Leaders on developing strategy and implementation for operations and growth initiatives.In this role, a typical day will include:

The Operations Lead for NSS will engage and coordinate Division and GDIT efforts pertaining to Operations (Ops).

Integrates relationships between business units and functions to ensure success in meeting business and corporate goals and objectives.

Independently identifies and facilitates resolution of operational issues.

Acts as a liaison between Sector and Division shared services and internal business units.

Act as the liaison between the Sector Ops Leads

POC for data calls from the Division to coordinate with the Sector to attain compliance

Supports the Sector Leader in developing annual Operations and Strategy Plans.

Supports the Sector Leader in planning Leadership Offsite, meetings, employee engagement activities, and other events and/or engagements as needed.

Prepares and provides various reports and presentations to Division Leader as requested.

Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards

Participates and/or leads special projects as required

Will attend and prepare summaries of meetings as required; will prepare draft materials, talking points, written communications, presentations, etc… as requested by Division Leader

Will coordinate and maintain NSS online materials, including newsletters and other announcements.

Responsible for tracking action items across the executive team to include managing deadlines established by the Division Leader.

Will serve as the primary POC for various initiatives as required by the Sector Leader.

Travel as required with Sector Leader to NSS locations (estimated travel 10%)

Must be willing to travel to Annapolis Junction, MD office 1 to 2 days per week.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

Five (5)+ years with Program, Project, and/or Business Administration experience

Knowledge of business development operations

Experience in developing and implementing business strategies.

Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.

TS/SCI with Poly Clearance required

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
