Kennel Help - Part-time position available. Kennel looking for a responsible, reliable kennel assistant: to feed, clean, and exercise the animals 2-4 times a day. Days start at 6:30-7 - flex hours. Dependable transportation and a valid driver's license are a must as there may be errands to run, including picking up kennel supplies, etc. Job includes a lot of cleaning of yards, runs and building - applicant should be prepared to keep things neat, clean, and orderly. Perfect job for someone who likes and enjoys the company of animals. Job is physical and may require some lifting (40 pound bags of food, and handling large dogs daily). Applicant may be subject to background check.
Job Requirements:
Prior kennel/boarding experience preferred.
Must be at least 20 years old
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must have a genuine love for dogs
Adhere to pet care requirements.
You must be able to stoop, bend, be physically fit, be able to stand for long periods of time. Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
Responsible, trustworthy, animal loving.
We are NOT interested in short term employment, we are looking for a dependable and responsible individual, good team player.
No inside smoking.
