Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Glen Allen, Virginia. This role involves performing tasks related to accounts payable, including vendor payables, expense reimbursements, and company credit card processing. You will also be expected to handle unclaimed property and process outstanding check letters.Responsibilities: Manage vendor payables and ensure accurate and timely payment Process expense reimbursements for employees Handle the company credit card including tracking expenses and reconciling statements Process unclaimed property according to company procedures and regulatory requirements Send out letters for outstanding checks and follow up on responses Use software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for task execution Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and invoice processing Engage in account reconciliation activities regularly to ensure accuracy of accounts payable Perform coding invoices to appropriate accounts or cost centers Conduct check runs to ensure timely payment of invoices. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar. Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP). Capable of executing Check Runs and Coding Invoices. Skilled in Data Entry and Invoice Processing. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Experience with Oracle and SAP is desired. Familiarity with QuickBooks is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is a plus.
