I’m the owner of my c. 1915 home that is in generally excellent condition, requiring mainly interior painting, one room at a time.
I’m looking for a painter-handy person-craftsperson WHO CAN THINK, who can work thoughtfully, & take my directions.
For the right person, male or female, it could be lucrative and a long-term part-time opportunity.
I used to do all that I’m asking here myself, but my bad right hip currently precludes that. I am working to schedule a hip operation but that has its hurdles.
I won’t be a pushover, but I like to be on good terms with my workers.
For the right, THOUGHTFUL person, this could be an excellent long-term opportunity.
The first two jobs:
1️⃣. Selecting & installing a new whole house fan in the attic, including an upgraded two-speed switch, so electrical know-how is required.
2️⃣. Painting the master bedroom in excellent fashion, because my father’s paint job from years ago is laughable. That job will also entail removing a 6’ section of false wall, to restore the dressing table niche of the original design, so excellent Sheetrock skills are required. Also removing the “sponge work” surface treatment on the ceiling, before usual painting.
The right candidate will know how important good prep work is!
