Summary Serves as a Business Support Assistant (eCommerce) at a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) HQ facility. The primary purpose of this position is to performs an assortment of administrative and technical duties in support of higher-grade specialists assigned to the principal functions in the Directorate. Responsibilities Serves as the principal administrative liaison for the eCommerce Directorate. Maintains calendar of events and coordinates changes as requested by supervisor. Serves as the main point of contact for the directorate, arranging schedules of visits, making reservations, notifying organizations and officials to be visited, and submits travel vouchers. Serves as the timekeeper for directorate, inputting time and attendance. Read the entire announcement before starting the application process. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 1101 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date. Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6 level by the closing date of this announcement. Education may not be substituted for specialized experience. Examples of Specialized experience: Compiling information into interim and final reports. Develop charts, spreadsheets, graphs, and other presentation materials. Developing and maintaining project databases. You will receive credit for all relevant qualifying experience (paid and unpaid), including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Physical requirements: (1) Stand, stoop, kneel, bend and climb for prolonged periods. (2) Lift, push, pull, carry, and handle items weighing up to 40 pounds independently and occasionally over 40 pounds with assistance.
