DSA is searching for a Technical Writer as key personnel for a pending award for a new contract with DSA. The successful candidate, will work as part of a team providing services to Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) MC2SA programmatic and technical management support. Successful candidate will support both technical and non-technical document creation efforts as needed within the IPT. Support the development and maintenance of test, system engineering, software integration, and field support documentation. Provide technical writing / editing support to the development and maintenance of integration documentation to include Software Version Descriptions (SVD), Field Change Bulletins (FCB), and Installation Instructions. Provide technical writing / editing support to the development and maintenance of test documentation to include Test Plans, Test Reports, and test procedures. Create, review, modify, and maintain the IPT Document Management Plan which contains style guides, and templates for all documents produced by the IPT as necessary. Provide documentation support in accordance with the IPT's Documentation Plan. Provide quality assurance of documentation artifacts by ensuring they meet the standards specified in templates and style guides as appropriate. Create document approval workflows using the IPT's collaboration site/document repository (currently Intelink) which will alert the appropriate personnel when a document requires review and approval. Compile inputs from multiple sources for development and submission of a weekly status report to the Project Office. Provide meeting minutes support as needed. Education/Experience, Required Skills: Education: BA degree in English, Journalism, or Technical Writing. Experience: Ten (10) years of experience as a Technical Writer/Editor, to include: writing/editing technical documentation, procedures and guidelines for C4ISR systems or equipment. OR Education: No degree Experience: Twelve (12) years of experience as a Technical Writer/Editor, to include: writing/editing technical documentation, procedures and guidelines for C4ISR systems or equipment.
