Pricing Analyst Fairfax, VA Apply Now Pricing Analyst Fairfax, VA Hybrid (2 days a week from home) Position Overview: Nationwide IT Services, NIS, a rapidly growing federal contractor, is seeking a Pricing Analyst to lead proposal pricing efforts in support of new business growth, contract recompetes, and sole source procurements. The Pricing Analyst will be a trusted business partner that will report through our Contracts team and support company-wide price to win, pricing strategy development, and price proposal responses. Responsibilities:
Coordinate pricing efforts of all sizes and complexities, of all types of contracts (FFP, T&M, LH, CPFF, CPAF, etc.)
Collaborating with the proposal team (Directors, Business Unit Directors, program managers, contracts/subcontracts) to ensure that proposal pricing/costing and customer deliverables comply with all federal government regulations (FAR, DFARS, other agency-specific clauses), RFP requirements, and internal policies and procedures.
Perform competitor analysis on similar services and products.
Serve as the Pricing Analyst and provide guidance and counsel on all aspects of cost proposal preparation during the proposal process.
Develop Pricing Narratives based on government solicitations.
Participate in strategy sessions and color team reviews.
Facilitate/lead pricing reviews with upper management and coordinate with senior staff to determine pricing structure and strategy.
Conducting market research to identify trends in the industry and competitors’ pricing strategies.
Interact with subcontract teammates to ensure data call(s) responses from them are timely.
Ad-hoc cost and performance analyses and other special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of Government Contracts pricing analyst experience in the Federal space
Functional knowledge of FAR, DFARs and agency-specific clauses
Working knowledge of all contract types
Advanced/Expert with Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables)
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Be able to work within a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Detailed oriented.
