This role will actively advance our efforts for tailored ITSM delivery and enhance our offerings for customer environments and provide interesting and compelling work for our employees.HOW A ITSM AND CSI EXPERT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Engage directly with Growth and Delivery teams to provide subject matter expertise in ITSM and CSI for active efforts across the Defense Division.

Bring our ITSM capabilities to life for our customers through direct consulting efforts on new program wins or existing portfolio of programs.

Enable and optimize Continuous Service Improvement efforts across the Defense Portfolio, creating connectivity between disparate program efforts to provide best of breed innovation to the mission we support.

Lead design and implementation of CSI efforts, strategizing within the ITSM framework, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.

Operationalize proposed ITSM frameworks, in transition periods, leading service assessments of current environment and status to bootstrap delivery CSI practices.

Engage in strategic efforts to harmonize ITSM and IT Ops toolchain solutions, working with system engineers to ensure tool chains proposed and deployed align to meet customer specific use cases.

Contribute to Organizational Change Management efforts for both the SCITES customer and internally.

Engage and collaborate on solution design with solution architects, ensuring architecture meets current service requirements, is scalable, and adaptable.

Engage with Solution architects to tailor ITSM and CSI components of enterprise bids, informing the POV as a SME and practitioner of these enabling technologies.

Support the development of demonstration work products, to include PowerPoint slides, narrated videos, Graphics, and marketing materials to inspire our customer about mission possibilities by leveraging unique GDIT capabilities to meet mission requirements.

Integrate with the EIT Solution architecture and System Engineering teams, and broadly across the Defense CTO team, to advance our solutions and capabilities as an organization.

Bring forward your passion for Continual improvement that will advance our teams efforts to broaden our team’s impact to customer mission.

Leverage expertise in ITSM platforms (such as ServiceNow) to integrate and automate CSI processes.

Design and implement effective ITSM and CSI strategies, aligning with business goals, that continuously evolve to meet business requirements.

Design, implement, and optimize ITSM processes to improve efficiencies and effectiveness, building opportunities for improvement while ensuring benefits are obtainable.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CSI processes with existing ITSM platforms and workflows.

Skillfully troubleshoot, identify, and resolve complex issues related to ITSM and CSI, detail actionable insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical persons.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education : Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business-related field preferred

Required Experience : 15+ years of progressive technical implementation, team leadership, ITSM, and customer relationship experience, or 19+ years in lieu of a degree.

Desired Technical Skills : Demonstrated Technical Knowledge and experience in Continual Service Improvement and IT Service Management. Hands on skills in operations processes such as incident management, problem management, change management, configuration management, event management, and knowledge management.

Desired Certifications : ITIL Expert or Managing professional, Six Sigma Green Belt, or ITIL Service Design

Security Clearance Level : Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance with SCI

Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills that enable innovative design and technical thought leadership in a rapidly evolving business environment.

Preferred Skills: Experience working with Government Customers, specifically the US Military.

Location : Remote. 25-50% travel.
