As a Test Engineer you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Test Engineer joining our team to perform continuous testing for security, API, and regression suites.HOW A TEST ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Analyze testing outcomes to identify and document design gaps and functionality improvements and transition to Business Analyst.

Apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support product testing.

Execute product tests and document the test results.

Validate test bed across different environments and share results.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and processes.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Bachelor's degree

Gatling Test Execution

3+ years of experience with end-to-end Agile software testing, including supporting and resolving IT related issues, participating in code reviews, and monitoring, reporting, and documenting defects to support continuous improvement.

Beginner-level experience creating automated test scripts.

Hands-on API testing experience.

Experience supporting data and environment configuration with tools such as Jenkins/GitHub.

Familiarity with any NoSQL database.

Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA.

Candidate must have established residency in the U.S. for at least 3 out of the last 5 years.

Candidate must be able to obtain a Federal Public Trust.

Work visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Develop Test Automation framework using Java/Scala REST APIs

Produce estimates for new functionality or enhancements.

Agile certification in SAFe Practitioner, SAFe Agilist, CSM or other agile certifications.

Ability to perform in high pressure environment and under strict deadlines.

Ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities.

Proven ability to work independently and as a team member

Strong organizational, attention-to-detail, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Our benefits package for all US-based employees includes a variety of medical plan options, some with Health Savings Accounts, dental plan options, a vision plan, and a 401(k) plan offering the ability to contribute both pre and post-tax dollars up to the IRS annual limits and receive a company match.To encourage work/life balance, GDIT offers employees full flex work weeks where possible and a variety of paid time off plans, including vacation, sick and personal time, holidays, paid parental, military, bereavement and jury duty leave.
