If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match.Position summary:Leading the NRV Planning and Scheduling team ensuring day-to-day scheduling of multiple production lines, volume planning and capacity setting. Daily interaction with sales and management functions within NRV with the end Customer as our key focus.To be able to succeed in this position we believe you have a good selection of the following skills/qualities:

A good knowledge of overall automotive manufacturing, production planning, supply and logistics processes as well as Volvo Group NA footprint and order flows

You are interested in new Digital solutions and technologies

Good Knowledge in product structure in Volvo group (KOLA)

Relevant university degree and/or several years working experience in leadership positions

Good knowledge in order flow in the GTO IT map (MTM and or GSM)

Main areas of responsibilities:

Plan, schedules, and manages the master schedule on a 12-month rolling basis to satisfy customer commitments and assembly efficiency.

Develop and maintain 12-month master schedule based off monthly volume forecasts driving raw material requirements and execute in planning system for incoming order consumption.

Proactively manage factory constraints in conjunction with production to ensure leveling of manpower to maintain effective and efficient schedule plan. Communicate and escalate any deviations.

Oversee team responsible for daily schedule adherence working with purchasing, warehouse, and production. Replan as necessary based off material/engineering availability and determine root cause.

Oversee team responsible for rolling 12-month material forecasting at part and arrangement/variant level to meet the master production schedule along with daily monitoring of order sequence and material requirements.

Participate and provide input to continuous improvement initiatives/projects impacting owned systems, process and continued efficiency of operations.

Interface with VTNA Sales, Customer engineering, North American regional team, and global teams as required to integrate decisions and execution of plans.

Manage overall order Production Planning and Production order planning global and local software applications as system(s) Key User.

Assist in insuring material forecasts align with production plans for accurate supplier information communication.

Provide and keep production reports through data ownership, communicate achievements.

Deliverables are reduced assembly constraints, schedule stability and PSKU expertise.
