You will be responsible for delivering high-quality dental care to residents at the North Central Secure Treatment Unit, the North East Secure Treatment Unit, and the Southeast Youth Development Center, located in the eastern region. In this role, you will provide a range of dental services under the general direction of the Eastern Region Director. Your main responsibilities will include conducting dental examinations, making diagnoses, and administering treatment to adjudicated juvenile offenders. You will also be responsible for educating residents on oral hygiene and providing post-treatment care. It is essential that you adhere to the latest guidelines and recommendations for dental care and infection control to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
Work hours will vary, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work hours and schedule may change based on operational needs.
You will rotate weekly between the three Eastern Region Sites: North Central Secure Treatment Unit in Montour County, North East Secure Treatment Unit in Luzerne County, and the Southeast Youth Development Center in Montgomery County.
Overtime and travel as operationally necessary
Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Graduation from an approved school of dentistry.
Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.Special Requirement:You must be in possession of a license to practice dentistry issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.Other Requirements:
You must be willing to accept employment at North Central Secure Treatment Unit and commute to this location in Montour County, and be willing to travel to the North East Secure Treatment Unit in Luzerne County, and the Southeast Youth Development Center in Montgomery County.
PA residency requirementis currently waived for this title.You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
