Biostatistical Analyst I

Biostatistical Analyst I sought by Geisinger Clinic in Danville, PA to provide statistical support to clinical and health service investigators. REQ: Master's degree (or foreign equiv.) in Biostatistics, Statistics, or related. Must have working knowledge of statistical software packages (SAS or R); managing datasets (such as EHR, public database survey, or chart review); statistical programming and analytical skills including study design, handling missing data, hypothesis testing, regression models, longitudinal data analysis, and survival analysis. Knowledge can be gained through education, internship, consulting course, position, training, or any suitable combination thereof, before, during, or after completion of Master's degree. Determine analysis for selected studies, design appropriate methods of data collection, prepare publication quality graphics, and assist in manuscript preparation. Educate residents and staff on statistical techniques and methods of analysis. Read recent methodological literature and research statistical literature to maintain knowledge base. Use statistical analysis software package including SAS and R, perform data manipulation, manage data sets, and summarize data. Position allows for up to 100% remote work.
