Description Robert Half is seeking a Billing Clerk with strong organization skills. This Billing Clerk opening is with an organization in the Danville, Virginia area and is a long-term contract / temporary position. As a Billing Clerk, your duties will consist of reviewing bills and compiling data into spreadsheets and accounting software. Are you a hard-worker looking to develop your career? If so, this may be the Billing Clerk role for you.What you get to do every dayReview, process, and evaluate bills or invoices for services rendered
Build financial controls and procedures
Gauge billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, acquiring missing or correct data when necessary
Work closely with other functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency Requirements - Strong expertise in spreadsheets, internet applications and ERP systems
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
Billing experience desired
Microsoft Office experience
Proficiency in NetSuite
Foundational knowledge in customer invoices
