Full Time Administrative Support/ Sales Representative

We are a local to Charlottesville artisan small business looking for a full-time administrative assistant/sales representative to support our gallery. 30-40 hours weekly with potential for bonuses, overtime and commissions with a flexible schedule.
This is a new role in a rapidly expanding small business with an innovative work environment. Our ideal candidate enjoys being a member of a creative collaborative team and excels in multitasking while maintaining a positive outlook and demeanor.
Responsibilities for the role will include but are not limited to:
-Assist our Business Manager in entering orders into QuickBooks Online.
-Assist in managing/updating our various social media platforms.
-Support with both in person and online sales including consulting with customers on purchases.
- Shipping support, ordering supplies & additional office tasks as needed.
Travel Requirement: Please note that this role will involve travel at least 1-2 weekends a month (normally Thursday-Monday) to assist with setup at festivals in other states and assist with sales. On non-travel weekends the Saturday hours would mostly be for local Saturday Markets which end around noon (not every Saturday, rotates with other employees.)
Basic Requirements:
-Valid Virginia Driver’s License
-Lifting 30-50 pounds on a regular basis
-At least one year of experience with Bookkeeping
Preferred Qualifications:
We are willing to provide some on the job training for the following programs but previous experience is preferred.
-At least one of experience with the following programs: Dropbox, HubSpot, GoDaddy, Quickbooks Online, Facebook Business, and Microsoft Outlook.
-Experience with photography (for social media purposes)
