Direct Support Professional needed weekday and weekend evenings, as well as weekend days, for young woman with autism and epilepsy, in her family home. Weekend hours needing coverage are 9am10pm, and can work a portion or all of this for Saturdays and Sundays. Need 1-3 weekends/month. Weekdays are evenings only, approx 5pm to 10pm.
Seizures are uncontrolled, so this is a very hands-on position as a bodyguard. However, your friendship and knowledge of age-appropriate activities is also part of the position. We provide all training ($16+ per hour) with full wage of $22/hour once you are actually on the job. Training is through the Arc of the Piedmont. Car is required, and non-smoking preferred.
