We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description:Vice President of Infrastructure and OperationsParsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations to join our team! In this pivotal role, you will be a key member of our IT leadership team, reporting directly to the CIO.What You'll Be Doing:The Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of Parsons' IT infrastructure and operations. This includes data centers, network services, storage, cloud services and facility IT services. The VP will ensure that the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure, supporting the company's strategic objectives and operational needs.This position will be a remote role with preference for candidates in the Eastern Time zone.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute the strategic vision for IT infrastructure and operations in alignment with Parsons' business goals.

Lead the planning, development, and implementation of IT infrastructure initiatives to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.

Infrastructure Management

Oversee the management of data centers, network services, cloud infrastructure, and other critical IT systems.

Ensure the scalability and reliability of IT infrastructure to support business growth and continuity.

Operations and Service Management

Implement and manage IT service management processes, including incident, problem, change, and configuration management.

Establish and lead a service management office to enhance the quality and performance of core IT services.

Cloud Optimization

Develop strategies to right size cloud spending and optimize cloud resource utilization.

Cybersecurity

Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations, including CMMC and ITAR.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of over 100 IT professionals, including networks, storage, hosting, cloud platform services, and operations.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the IT department.

Budget and Vendor Management

Develop and manage the budget for IT infrastructure and operations in partnership with Finance and Office of the CIO.

Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with other IT leaders and business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective IT solutions.

Communicate IT infrastructure and operations strategies, plans, and performance to executive leadership and other stakeholders.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership, with particular experience leading largescale operations and infrastructure.

Background with complexities associated with federal regulations related to IT, including CMMC and ITAR, is preferred.

Demonstrated experience leading IT service management including establishing service levels, developing IT operational processes, and building around operational frameworks such as ITIL.

Excellent leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills.

Ability to work closely and communicate effectively with both technical and business-side leaders, including the ability to facilitate discussion and build consensus.

Demonstrated experience building strong, inclusive teams and fostering growth of key leaders.

Strong background in process improvement to drive continuous gains in efficiency

Background in vendor management and negotiation.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Knowledge and experience with cloud migrations.

Lean six sigma or background in similar improvement methodology
