We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description:Parsons is now hiring for an Associate Engineer to join our innovative Connected Communities group! As a remote employee supporting our East Coast and regional projects, you'll expand your expertise in transportation engineering with the mentorship of our world-class team!What You'll Be Doing:

Estimating, quantity calculations, technical reports, plan details, and detailed engineering analyses

Electrical, communications, and/or systems design

Interface with CAD designers, other engineers and clients

Complete a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable

Prepare standard engineering computations, material quality takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs

Prepare detailed requisitions for equipment and materials

Review small and portions of larger supplier drawing submittals and assists in performing technical bid analyses

Prepare and issue specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents

Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project

Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

What Qualifications You'll Bring:

4-year degree in Engineering (or related field)

0 to 2 years or more of related work experience

Any relevant experience or previous internship work is desirable

Familiarity with MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Excel

Basic process engineering knowledge

Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering
