Position Description: CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst for an exciting opportunity within our International Affairs business unit.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst you will utilize your analytical, statistical, and programmatic skills to provide federal executives with insight to enable data driven decisions. Using large or small data sets to find opportunities for product and process optimization and using models to test the effectiveness of different courses of action. You must have a proven ability to influence business results with your data-based insights. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders and teams. Your passion for discovering solutions hidden in data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business and mission outcomes make you a great fit. Your future duties and responsibilities: Your future duties and responsibilities:• Provide leadership with insight informing long-term strategic plans to keep mission-critical priorities on track• Advise management on issues, impacts, risks, and options• Be an agent for change, helping your teams and the customer implement policies and procedures to modernize and improve their business• Responsible for performing as a highly skilled technology consultant and influencer in the area of analytics, who isn't afraid to build their suggested solutionRequired qualifications to be successful in this role: An interim Secret clearance is required to begin working onsite with our client, and a Secret clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, accounting, finance, mathematics or economics.• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.• Experience in federal systems generating standards, researching practices, producing data analysis to support decision makers• Demonstrated responsibilities and expertise related to data science and predictive analytics initiatives.• Experience delivering complex technical documentation related to data science and predictive analytics initiatives.• Proficiency at transforming data, data classification and translations, as well as resolving data quality and data cleansing.• Experience with a range of Data Visualization tools - (Power BI and Tableau)• Thorough understanding of database technologies, including the skills to query database and recognize performance opportunities of reports/queries• Extensive SQL experience• Experience with communicating to executive leadership"CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
