Java Developers, from intermediate to senior skill levels. Together, we will develop and implement software enhancements and modernization efforts at the DoS.Education: BS/BA degree or equivalent experienceExperience: 6+ years’ work experienceClearance: ACTIVE Secret or interim Secret Clearance required to be consideredRelated Experience Should Include:- Must have experience using the Oracle technology stack (Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Weblogic and Oracle Database)
- Experience supporting SOAP and Rest API
- Experience developing and implementing software enhancements and upgrades.
- The Java Web Service Developer will utilize the Oracle technology stack (Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Weblogic and Oracle Database) to design, develop, test, deploy and support SOAP and REST API and webservices. These services will enhance, improve and resolve issues with a large portfolio of custom applications that support Passport processing.
- Develop non-emergency and emergency fixes to system platforms to meet mission priorities and align to security objectives
- Develop and implement software enhancements and modernization efforts
- Create self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
- Support Existing Passport Web services and API
- Usual office working conditions and standard office equipment.
- Required to sit for long periods of time using a personal computer.

- BS in Computer Science or related field
- Candidates must be US citizens with an Active Secret clearance, due to DoS contract requirements.
- Only local residents to the Northern VA, DC, MD area will be considered.
