What are we looking for?The Project Manager shall collaborate with CDRH staff to identify, document, and coordinate project requirements. They will be responsible for managing, planning, and coordinating multiple projects over their full lifecycle. Fun stuff you will do on the job:

Collaborate with Office leadership, senior management, and project teams to identify, document, and coordinate project requirements. Additionally, the contractor shall establish some aspects of

project schedules, milestones, and responsibilities of the participating parties.

Manage, plan, and coordinate the full lifecycle of projects ensuring that the goals and objectives are accomplished with the prescribed timeframe.

Develops and establish project scope and project plans and timelines for each assigned deliverable using appropriate software.

Monitor performance to assure commitments of all parties are being maintained.

Generate various reports on progress of projects and various working groups to ensure successful project completion.

Work with OM leadership in managing activities of the project team, including scheduling meetings, preparing issue-based agendas and official records of meetings.

Keep abreast of the most recent project management policy and guidance.

Participate in meetings with management and technical specialists across the Center to obtain and present information.

Assemble and prepare materials for presentation or discussions, relative to the progress of work assignments/projects and provide supporting material for higher level management in support of Center projects.

Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor, and summarize progress of projects.

Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.

Lead strategic planning, budgeting, and staffing efforts in response to task requirements.

Formulate, communicate, and enforce quality work standards.

Monitor progress and resolve any identified issues affecting successful product/service delivery.

Ensure compliance with all administrative and contractual requirements.

Serve as primary point-of-contact with government contract and program management staff for reporting project status.

Support any other tasks assigned by Task Order PM and/or designer.

Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust

Must have a minimum of three years of experience managing multiple projects concurrently

Demonstrate effective time management

Strong attention to detail, self-starter, quick and critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong customer service skills

High level of professionalism, diplomacy, and patience

Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively

Able to work independently and with teams

Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies, and experience using these methodologies to implement projects within a federal government environment.

Demonstrated knowledge of software development practices, frameworks, and life cycles

Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint Online and Collaboration Tools

General knowledge and experience working with the federal government; especially the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

Education & Training:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Must have a PMP certification.

Currently due to the remote working status of the federal government, most DRT employees are teleworking from home and leveraging video conferencing along with other virtual productivity tools. Under normal circumstances, most of our positions are required to report onsite. However, DRT has not yet determined when employees will be required to return to their onsite workspaces. Please be aware that at the time a date is determined to return to the worksite, the requirement of this position may be to report in person to the work location.
