MEP Project Manager

AECOM is seeking an experienced and driven Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of MEP systems in construction projects. This role is critical in confirming the successful integration of MEP systems, compliance with project specifications, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring expertise, leadership, and a commitment to excellence to deliver projects that meet and exceed client expectations.Responsibilities:Serve as the primary point of contact for all MEP-related concerns, coordinating with project leadership, clients, and stakeholders.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate MEP systems into project designs, addressing conflicts and confirming seamless execution.Confirm adherence to OSHA regulations, project-specific safety guidelines, and environmental and sustainability standards.Maintain detailed records of test results, certifications, and compliance reports for final project handover.Track MEP-related costs, monitor expenditures, and manage budgets to prevent cost overruns while maintaining quality and compliance.Review MEP design drawings, specifications, and submittals for compliance with contract requirements, building codes, and industry standards.Supervise MEP subcontractors, confirming proper sequencing of installations and adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.Oversee system testing, inspections, and commissioning processes to confirm MEP components function correctly and meet performance requirements.Coordinate client outage/shutdown procedures and notify relevant parties of test failures while planning corrective actions.Participate in post-construction evaluations and warranty follow-ups to address system performance issues and provide long-term operational support.
