Fire Protection Intern

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fire Protection Intern to join our team in Arlington, Virginia office. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of fire protection engineering while contributing to the safety of our built environment.This position is expected to begin in June 2025.The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:Assist in the design and review of fire protection systems for various building typesSupport senior engineers in conducting fire risk assessments and safety auditsHelp prepare technical reports and documentation for fire protection projectsParticipate in site visits to observe and learn about fire protection system installationsContribute to the development of fire safety plans and emergency proceduresAssist in researching and staying up-to-date with the latest fire protection technologies and regulationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure fire safety compliance in building designsSupport the team in creating and maintaining project documentation and drawings
