My client is fast growing Professional Services firm located in the Washington, D.C. area with a need for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their experienced team. The company has doubled its revenue in the last 18 months and this is newly created role for the company. The Accounts Payable Supervisor must have experience in processing full-cycle vendor payables and a strong understanding of debits/credits. The Accounts Payable Supervisor will report to the Corporate Controller and be tasked with a variety of duties in a fast-paced environment. The Accounts Payable Supervisor will be responsible for the following duties:-Process high volume full cycle invoices for vendors in Workday-Code, match, batch, and process checks and ACHs-Set-up new vendors within Workday ERP System -Process credit card reconciliations, EFTs & ACHs -Process 1099s and W9s-Resolve discrepancies with payments and vendor inquires -Training and lead Accounts Payable staff -Track monthly accruals and variance in vendor payments -Monthly close out for Accounts Payable Dept.
