The position is focused on researching all things work, worker and workplace and may include topics such as human resources, workplace economic impacts, inclusion and diversity, and related government policies.Responsibilities
Design and execute research studies from start to finish, including defining objectives, generating hypotheses, developing research plans, designing and programming surveys, analyzing results, summarizing findings, and creating final deliverables.
Use industry best practices and familiarity with the organization's mission to inspire ideas and content.
Communicate and collaborate internally and externally to support the goals of the thought leadership team, its partners, and the organization.
Produce well-researched content in compelling and creative ways for print and online publications and presentations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, political science, psychology or other social science field; or equivalent relevant experience.
3 or more years of professional experience in survey research, project management, and data analysis.
Proficiency with statistical software package (e.g., SPSS, R) including cross tabs, frequencies, correlations, and regressions.
Experience with programming on survey designplatforms (e.g., Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, etc.).
Basic understanding of how to use generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, etc.).
Ability to consolidate data findings into concise, actionable, and easy-to-understand charts and/or presentations.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously.
Proven time management skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred
Master’s in business, economics, political science, psychology or other social science field.

equipment is routinely used.
Expected travel is 0-10% of the time.
#LI- HybridThe hiring range for this position is $80,000 to $115,000 per year. This range is an estimate and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. SHRM offers a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package.
