Description We are looking for a Paralegal to be a part of our team. This role is based in Alexandria, Virginia, and offers the convenience of a fully remote workplace. As a Paralegal, you will be instrumental in managing contracts, assisting with document organization, tracking state annual reports, and aiding in the implementation of a new contract management system. Track state annual reports meticulously and ensure they are updated regularly. Help in setting up a new contract management system and ensure its smooth functioning. Work with standard templates and review incoming documents for compliance. Handle commercial contracts and ensure they adhere to legal standards. Manage Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Teaming Agreements efficiently. Familiarize yourself with legal documents and apply this knowledge in day-to-day tasks. Learn and adapt to the new contract management system - Lexion. Collaborate with HR and Finance departments for invoicing tasks. Juggle multiple tasks and switch gears as priorities change.Requirements Possession of a degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field Proficient in Microsoft Excel Demonstrable experience in handling commercial agreements and contracts In-depth knowledge of contract administration and compliance Proven ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously Familiarity with contract law and its application in real-world scenarios Experience in modifying contracts as per requirements Understanding of contract terms and their implications Experience in dealing with Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) Familiarity with teaming agreements Exceptional organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of professionalism and confidentiality Proactive problem-solving abilities Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
