Job Requirements and Preferences:Basic Qualifications:Minimum Degree Required:Bachelor's DegreeAdditional Educational Requirements:Bachelor's degree or in lieu of a degree, demonstrating, in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college.Minimum Year(s) of Experience:5 year(s) of relevant experience in .NET development and at least 3 years of SQL.Preferred Qualifications:Degree Preferred:Master's DegreePreferred Fields of Study:Computer and Information Science,Management Information Systems,Computer EngineeringPreferred Knowledge/Skills:Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

Utilizing established development tools, guidelines, and conventions to create software solutions using technologies such as; ASP, .NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, Java, C#, and Entity Framework;

Possessing experience with front-end web development frameworks (React and/or Angular preferred)

Understanding of Object Orientated Programming and principles and the agile programming methodology;

Utilizing Microsoft Application Lifecycle Management using Azure Devops;

Understanding of the software development life-cycle;

Utilizing .NET MVC and Entity Framework Development and Design, Microsoft SQL Development Design and reviewing of the enterprise scale applications;

Utilizing Git for source control in Microsoft Azure Devops, including working in highly structured branched environment merging code from one branch to another;

Working in an Agile process, planning work daily, resolving development blockers, and escalating issues appropriately;

Helping teams scope development work items and managing time and quality targets within a sprint;

Running scrum meetings, retrospective meetings, prioritizing and assigning work items and monitoring the progress;

Reviewing designs and code deliverables to establish adherence to development standards and providing feedback/coaching to developers on areas for improvement; and,

Providing leadership across a team of onshore and offshore staff and vendor resources.

For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
