We are a local construction company that does both residential and commercial construction. We have solid crews to knock out the physical labor but are looking for estimators to help grow the company. This position would, at least for a while, also require the willingness to perform certain tasks of selling jobs and project managing the jobs that are sold. The sales would come with incentive-laden commission, with a fair number agreed on by both our company and the new hire. This number will be based in actual past sales numbers so as to be fair to the incoming worker when setting realistic sales goals.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience estimating in commercial construction and a decent working knowledge of the construction industry. We'd also be open to hiring someone from one of the local tech schools.
