Description:
The purpose of the Shuttle Driver position is to enhance the customers' positive service experience by driving them to or picking them up from their homes or offices while service is being performed on their vehicles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drives customers to their homes or places of business and picks them up after their vehicle is repaired.Â
Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.Â
Keeps a timely shuttle route.Â
Assists passengers getting in and out of vehicles.Â
Operates radio or similar device to communicate with the dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service.Â
Keeps a record of trips including names of passengers and destination or pick-up point.Â
Notifies dispatcher or service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance.Â
Maintains a professional appearance. Performs other duties as assigned.

Outgoing and friendly personality
Comfortable interacting and dealing with the public; Must have a professional appearance
Comfortable handling multiple tasks and fulfilling several obligations at once
Education and Experience:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record
Communication/Language Skills:
MustÂbe able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to a variety of customers, employees, and vendors as necessary.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and move objects weighing between 10 and 25 pounds
Ability to drive cars and trucks; some with manual transmission
Ability to speak, hear, and see; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms
Ability to maneuver through the service facility (upright on concrete for long periods) and have awareness of surroundings as the service facility can become dangerous
Travel Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training
Short distance travel using company vehicles
Work Environment:
Individuals must be able to dress professionally for weather conditions, following the service advisor dress code policy.
