As a Service Writer, you will play a vital role in the automotive service industry by acting as a liaison between customers and the service department. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure excellent customer service, sell necessary repairs, advise customers of recommended maintenance and efficient workflow within the service department.

Duties
- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs
- Document customer concerns and vehicle issues accurately
- Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure proper vehicle diagnosis and repair
- Provide estimates for services and obtain necessary approvals from customers
- Schedule service appointments and follow up with customers on the status of their vehicles

Requirements
- Experience in automotive repair or dealership environment is preferred
- Knowledge of CDK is preferred
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance services such as tire service, brake repair, oil changes, shocks/struts, etc.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
