Business & Marketing Manager for Meditation Teacher and Relationship Coach

Key Responsibilities:
● Handle technology and logistics in creation of books, audio and video podcasts, webinars, online courses, in-person workshops, and retreats
● Promote and manage offerings including solo, couples, and group sessions and retreats, podcasts, webinars, books, and online courses
● Manage business operations, including finances, marketing, and on-site logistics
Salary/Compensation package for full-time position (40 hours/week):
$38,000/year + 20% of gross income (after completion of year)
Maximum total salary of $50,000 or 25% of net income (whichever is larger)
With Housing + utilities provided: $26,000/year + 20% of gross income (after completion of year)
Maximum total salary of $40,000/year or 25% of net income (whichever is larger)
Additional benefits: two-week paid vacation after completion of each year, extended leave of absence (without pay, by request, when available), private coaching sessions with Miles (by request), participation in classes, workshops, and retreats (when space is available), access to nature sanctuary in Panton including private waterfront (when available), and opportunity to assist and eventually collaborate in teaching, writing, and content creation (when qualified).
Details:
You have the option to live onsite in a beautiful tiny house, overlooking Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains, on a 7 acre, secluded nature sanctuary in Panton, Vermont. If you choose not to live on site, you must live close enough for work meetings and hosting retreats in-person as needed (at least 2-3 days/week).
You will be responsible for engaging and growing the existing audience, setting up teaching opportunities, and promoting private sessions. You will assist and manage creation and marketing of books, websites, social media, workshops, retreats, courses, educational videos, podcasts, and webinars, as well as logistics and technical support for their production.
I will be responsible for content creation, writing, speaking, teaching, facilitating, and engaging with the audience. I will create a limited fund for business expenses, including your salary, until our income can sustain these costs on its own. Business income streams include book sales, webinars, podcasts, online courses, workshops, teaching or speaking engagements, and private sessions. (see income projections below)
You will be hired as an independent contractor, not an employee. I am interested in a long-term working relationship and eventual business partnership. After one year, you can apply to become a business partner, with a greater share of responsibility, independence, and income.

In person one-day workshops – 1/month for 7 months = 7 classes
8 person average per class x $75/class = $600/class x 7 = estimated total gross $4,200
Weekend Group Medicine Journey - 2/year - 5 people @ $1,000 /person = $10,000 gross
2-night solo retreats – 3/month x 7 months = 21 x $450 = $9,450 gross
2-night medicine journeys – 1/month x 7 months = 7 x 1,260 = $8,820 gross
Private couples retreat - 2/month x 7 months =14 x (6 hours=$600) = $8,400 gross
Private couples sessions - 4/month x 7 months = 28 x (1.5 hours = $150) = $4,200 gross
