We hire career-minded, professional employees who work hard to deliver excellent results for our customers.Join our team as a Gardening Lead, a crucial role in our garden crew. Reporting to the Gardening Foreman, you will work on both garden maintenance and installation projects at client properties. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and enhancing the landscape's attractiveness, keeping the area free of diseases and insects, and ensuring the highest quality of horticultural care. This role requires physical fitness to meet the demands of the job and offers a competitive wage range of $20-$25 per hour.ResponsibilitiesPerform high-quality gardening and horticultural care at all client locationsReview and execute job plans and schedules in coordination with the Gardening ForemanCommunicate effectively with clients on-siteEnsure safe and efficient work activitiesOperate various tools and equipment, including rototillers, wheelbarrows, saws, pruners, shovels, edgers, etc.Operate trucks and trailers assigned to the gardening crewAssist the Gardening Foreman in meeting and exceeding defined crew production goalsPerform workplace/jobsite inspections and correct substandard acts or conditionsEnsure preventative maintenance on tools and equipmentQualificationsMinimum of 2 years' experience in the horticulture/landscape industryCapable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible mannerEffective communication skills (both verbal and written)Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlinesTime management skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and specificationsMust possess a valid driver’s licenseKnowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/horticulture practicesCompensationThe Gardening Lead role offers a competitive wage range of $20-$25 per hour.BenefitsPaid holidays5 days ordinary paid time off during the first year of employment10 days ordinary paid time off after 12 months of employmentUp to 5 days paid sick time per yearDental InsuranceMedical/wellness contributionCell phone stipendSimple IRA after 12 months of employmentCompany provided PPE Apply now in 2 minutes!
