Happy Tails Pet Resort and Spa is hiring experienced (vet tech, kennel staff, groomer, trainer's assistant, etc.) animal caregivers. Come work in a newly built, temperature controlled environment-featuring new equipment. Numerous areas for dogs to run and play- safe staff-to-dog ratios. We are looking for applicants who are motivated, can think independently and also work as team member.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Overseeing the care and safety of multiple dogs in our daycare and boarding facility. Feeding/administering medication.
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout. Dog handlers must be willing and able to get their hands dirty! A large portion of your everyday responsibilities include light to intensive cleaning.
This is a fun and rewarding job, but it requires a very high level of mental alertness as well as physical agility and strength. This position requires being on your feet for an extended period of time, moving quickly and being highly alert.
Weekend and holiday availability is required for this position. These are long-term, year-round positions that are available to be filled now.
We will pay for experience. We offer paid internships. Full or part time.
