Reports To: Executive DirectorSchedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 Hour Shift; On-CallStatus: ExemptABOUT:Our Lady of Providence is a State of Vermont licensed forty-eight bed Residential Care Home located in Winooski, Vermont. The Director of Nursing Services is responsible for the health care of the residents.Please visit their website and take a visual tour at: www.ourladyofprovidence.orgRESPONSIBILITIES:Plan, organize and direct the overall operation of the Nursing Service DepartmentAssume any responsibilities of the Executive Director in his/her absenceOngoing updating and review of nursing policies and procedures to assure quality of careResident Assessment and Care Plan coordinationScreen potential residentsConfidentiality, discretion, and overall professionalismQUALIFICATIONS:At least one year of professional experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing or Director of NursingLicensed RN in the State of VermontMedical specialty in geriatricsKind, compassionate, service minded & excellence drivenVermont Registered Nurse with over one year of experience in nursing leadership in at least a residential care setting as ADON or DONAbility to collaborate with supervisors, co-workers, facility staff, residents, and residents' familyAbility to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the positionWillingness to be on callCPR certifiedUnderstanding of State of Vermont regulationsCOVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS:You will be required to have an up-to-date documented vaccination record or weekly documented COVID testing. All staff are required to wear a mask within the building.
