The Buttery is a curated specialty food and beverage market, coffee shop, and wine bar. We opened in June in Downtown St. Johnsbury. We serve specialty coffee, natural wines, lagers, and light bites. We are hiring for a FULL TIME BOH/Kitchen Manager.
Availability: must have full-time availability, including weekends
Starting wage: $20/hr
The ideal candidate:
- loves food, beverage, community, and the combination of all three even more
- has at least three years of experience in the service industry, with a skillset specific to the kitchen and scaling of recipes
- is adaptable and works well with others
- is respectful, reliable, and punctual
Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Effectively communicating with the leadership team
- Collaborating with Maggie on menu design
- Executing menu and specials to agreed upon specifications
- Maintaining adequate stock of menu ingredients via development and maintenance of ordering schedules
- Training and coordinating BOH staff with clear delegation of tasks
