We are a small 19 room hotel located in Newfane, VT seeking a reliable housekeeper (experience preferred but willing to train the right person). This position is for 2 days a week, Fridays and Saturdays, the shift is typically 9-3. We are looking for someone that has attention to detail, our biggest compliment from our guests is our cleanliness and we want to continue that perfect experience for our guests.
Responsibilities & duties:
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming guest rooms, bath rooms, lobby, and hallways
- Distributing linens, towels, and room supplies
- Making beds
- Removing rubbish as needed
- Notifying Management of need for repairs
- Responding to guest requests
- Maintaining cleaning supply inventory
Requirements:
- Effective communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Able to stand, squat, kneel, walk etc.,
- Tolerance for cleaning products.
