A well-rounded energetic person is needed to join our small team and share the fun of running the Hyde Away Inn & Restaurant.

A small inn located in the fabulous Mad River Valley, with an active restaurant on-site. A great location for outdoor recreation –skiing hiking, biking and more.

Good food, good team and genuine hospitality.

This position, like kitchens, in general, is a bit of a jack-of-all-trades role, where you need to be comfortable pitching in and doing what it takes to keep things working – the unexpected happens when you least expect it.

The Head Chef manages and operates all back of the house / kitchen operations. These tasks include menu development, food ordering and preparation, staff management, revenue and cost planning, and business development. The Head Chef will work with the Hyde Away management team in strategic activities, such as cost containment, brand development, event and promotion planning and development of additional revenue streams.
