We are seeking part-time clerks to join our retail farm market team for Saturday & Sunday shifts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and help customers throughout their store visit, including completing customer transactions using a Square POS system
- Assist with receiving deliveries and managing inventory in POS system
- Upkeep compelling product displays with close attention to maintaining a robust fresh produce and live plant inventory
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming shop space and actively cultivate a safe, community-oriented atmosphere
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 16 years of age and able to lift 40 pounds
- One year professional experience in a retail/agricultural setting preferred
- Familiarity (and enthusiasm!) for local food systems, especially within Vermont
-Track record of being an innovative team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment
COMPENSATION
- Hourly starting at $18, dependent on experience
