We’re going to use our shops to alter the conversation surrounding cheese and gourmet grocery and
celebrate the best producers from our backyard and around the world.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Dishwasher/porter position’s primary responsibilities are to wash dishes and to maintain
organized storage of all pots, pans, and plates. Other responsibilities are primarily janitorial and basic
vegetable fabrication. The ideal candidate will be personable, cool-headed, and able to coordinate
with other kitchen staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization
● Maintain poise and professionalism during busy periods
● Washing dishes
● Organize inventory of all service ware and cookware
● Maintain adherence to SOPs, and keep up with daily cleaning tasks
● Clean kitchen/dish area thoroughly if closing
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
● Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
● Must have nights and weekends available
● Willingness to learn and to work within prescribed SOPs
● Have a cool head
● Work well with others
● Organizational Skills
● Attention to detail
● Strong Communication
