Job Title: FabricatorJob DescriptionThis is a hybrid role requiring experience in Fabrication, TIG Welding, and Mechanical skills. The ideal candidate has several years of hands-on experience within an industrial manufacturing facility but we are open to training individuals with basic skills and a strong work ethic and attitude.Responsibilities
Position materials to be welded, applying hand-eye coordination to achieve the desired weld.
Weld materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, or other alloys using methods including shielded metal arc, gas-tungsten arc.
Perform all-position welding as required.
Read and work from blueprints accurately.
Utilize strong TIG welding skills.
Apply knowledge and experience in pipefitting, particularly in copper and/or stainless steel welding.
Plan, layout, and perform diversified work, which may include short run production or custom work.
Interpret complex specifications, drawings, and welding symbols.
Essential Skills
Technical training in welding.
5+ years of related experience.
Proficient in MIG and TIG welding, including pipe and structural welding.
Experience with plasma and oxyacetylene cutting equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
Basic computer skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience using overhead and jib cranes, forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of pipefitting, particularly in copper and stainless steel welding.
Rigging knowledge and experience.
Mechanical experience.
Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
Experience with GMAW, D1.1 standards.
Proficient in production, assembly, and the use of hand tools.
