Pay Rate:The pay rate for this job is $28 - $28 / hourWhat you'll be doing as a Chef:
Prepare food for service (e. g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Clean up station and take care of leftover food - Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Help oversee prep cook's duties and tasks
Available shifts:Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)Job requirements:
Participate in the teardown and set up of the Kitchen
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Strong knife skills are essential
Ability to handle and prepare a variety of raw and cooked foods
Potential for heavy lifting, may work on one's feet for up to 10 hours, work in loud environment
