Under the general direction of the collaborating Hospital Medicine attending, the APP will be responsible for providing preventative patient care in addition to assessing acute and chronic patient illnesses, planning and providing treatment programs and seeking consultation or referral as necessary. This will include, but is not limited to, rounding on patients, completing admissions and providing cross-coverage for patients on the inpatient units.Ideal candidates will have at least one year of APP experience in Hospital Medicine, Critical Care or other related field. Physician Assistants should be graduates of an accredited PA program. Nurse Practitioners should be graduates of a Masters program in Nursing. In order to be considered, candidates must have an active APRN/ PA certification and license, DEA number, and MA Controlled Substances Registration number. The provider will also be required to have written prescription privilege protocols signed by all attendings with whom the individual will be working.Variety of Shifts Available:
