Applicants need:
strong mathematical aptitude
advanced analytical & reading comprehension skills
a high-level of computer literacy
the ability to self-teach & create personal reference materials
to be highly detail oriented
to be able to follow directions and procedures precisely
to be able to communicate complex information well to clients & co-workers
Obviously, the more experience an applicant has in tax preparation, bookkeeping, and financial matters generally, the better. Advanced practitioners are encouraged to apply.
In addition to tax preparation, there will also be related administrative duties, particularly client communications.
