Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in West Valley City, Utah. This role is situated within the accounting industry and will require an individual skilled in various accounting functions, with a particular focus on Accounts Payable (AP).Responsibilities: Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and manage detailed records of all transactions. Conduct Expense Reconciliation to ensure accuracy within the company's financial records. Handle Account Coding to properly classify all financial data. Use Oracle for various accounting functions to streamline operations. Manage and process Expense Reports to maintain accurate records of company expenditures. Administer Accrued Expenses and Expense Accruals to accurately reflect the company's financial position. Operate Automated Clearing House (ACH) for electronic money transfers. Utilize the Concur system for travel and expense management. Monitor and manage Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure all payments are made timely and accurately. Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar Proficient in Account Coding Experience with Concur is essential Strong understanding of Accounting Functions Demonstrated ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP) Knowledge of Accrual Accounting Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions Proficiency in Oracle software Skilled in Microsoft Excel Experience with Accrued Expenses Ability to handle Expense Accruals Experience in Expense Reconciliation Capability to Processes Expense Reports effectively Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
