Technical Software Engineering Manager (Angular)

Cricut is looking for a highly motivated and inspirational hands-on Angular Engineering Manager and leader with excellent qualifications to help design and build Angular native apps to work seamlessly with our Cricut machines. You will work in a fast-paced environment, to deliver world class apps that delight our customers and help grow the business. You are expected to be hands on and in the details in all phases of development including planning, execution, and release. You live for the best customer experience, are passionate about building great software, and care deeply about building and strengthening a great engineer team and culture.Responsibilities:A Technical Software Engineering Manager that will code 30% of the timeWork collaboratively with fellow department members, product managers, test engineers, and designers to develop and maintain Cricut Agular applications.  Lead Agile/Scrum development.  Lead the engineering team in developing new features, improving existing features and improving the quality of the apps.  Work with engineering to figure out architecture, work-breakdown, estimates and schedules.  Apply software engineering design patterns to develop well-structured, performant application code.  Perform code reviews, write unit and UI tests, and contribute to architectural planning and refactoring.  Ensure best coding practices.  Collaborate with API teams on API design.  Collaborate with mobile teams on cross-platform features.Training, mentorship, and development of team members.
