Job DetailsWe are looking for an strong developer to help build out feature requests and take our whiteboard production to the next level. We want someone who can brainstorm an idea, spec it out with the lead architect, then make it happen. We are not just creating a product, we are developing a platform with many facets across the EdTech industry. Thinking three steps ahead based on our collective vision is vital. You will be a part of the core team.Responsibilities:Brainstorm, spec and build new featuresFix issues and maintain current Node.js/Javascript virtual whiteboard productRefactor existing code for better performance/readabilityRequirements5+ years experience in client and server side Javascript3+ years experience in ExpressJS3+ years experience in webpack, npm and lessProficient in ES6 Javascript and functional programming methodologiesProficient in Cross-browser front-end development skills (HTML5, CSS/javascript/jQuery/Bootstrap)Experience using and working with projects stored in git version control via command lineOther Preferred Skills:AWS/Amazon Cloud ServicesExperience using DockerExperience with Geolocation load balancing strategiesExperience using UbuntuExperience using Paper.jsExperience with Play, Express, Django or other server side web frameworkExperience with modern JS frameworks/libraries (eg.
