As the Director of Underwriting and Credit Risk Management, you will
play a pivotal role in overseeing our underwriting department and managing credit risk
across our portfolio. You will lead a team of skilled professionals in assessing
creditworthiness, reviewing financial statements, analyzing business backgrounds, and
making informed decisions to manage risk effectively. Additionally, you will manage a
development team of PHP developers, designing frameworks to enhance our
technological capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the underwriting department, ensuring efficient operations and
adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
Lead a team of credit analysts in reviewing financial statements, business
backgrounds, liens, and judgments to assess creditworthiness.
Manage risk effectively by making informed decisions on credit profiles
and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
Directly manage a development team of PHP developers, providing
guidance on framework design and coding standards.
Collaborate with employees from the Underwriting, Data Entry, and
Collections departments to optimize processes and achieve company
goals.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
MBA preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit analysis and risk management,
preferably in the alternative finance sector.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make
informed decisions.
Experience managing teams and fostering a collaborative work
environment.
Proficiency in PHP development and framework design is a plus.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
