Job Duties
Take cases in multiple approved practice areas in order to prevent stagnation and burnout
Be an active and upstanding member of the larger legal community
Appropriately and ethically bill clients for time
Litigates cases with highest degree of integrity and rigor
Handle cases from initial consultation through trial
Conduct appropriate and thorough discovery
Follow internal processes with respect for and compliance with the system in place
Convert potential clients into clients
Demonstrate excellent legal competency and professionalism
Write high-quality accurate legal pleadings and letters
Education
Juris Doctorate
Bachelors Decree
Qualification
Active Utah Bar License
Some family litigation experience
Skill
Possesses excellent verbal & written communication skills
Posseses excellent negotiation skills
Considers all legal options and advises clients correctly and thoroughly
Exhibits patience with others, including staff, clients, and opposing counsel
Shows empathy for clients going through difficult times
Solves problems effectively
Demonstrates an ability to obtain clients
Works well with support staff and other lawyers
Has the proven ability to bill clients appropriately
Exhibits the ability to write high level legal documents
Maintains mental organization in the midst of many cases
Compensation
$95,000 + bonus Per Year
