About Our Family
We’re a warm and busy household in need of a proactive and highly organized House Manager to help keep our busy lives running smoothly and support the day-to-day functioning of our home. We have three boys - a high schooler (with us part-time), a 5-year-old, and a 3-year-old who attend preschool full-time during the week. We also have a nanny who handles afternoon pickups and after-school care.
We’re looking for someone who can take full ownership of the home—managing daily responsibilities, thinking ahead, solving problems independently, and helping bring structure and calm to our busy routines. This role is perfect for someone who thrives when given trust and autonomy and knows how to run a household efficiently behind the scenes.
This role focuses primarily on household management, organization, meal prep, and running errands so that our family can spend more quality time together.
Who You Are
You’re calm, capable, and confident in your ability to manage a household without being micromanaged. You’re naturally proactive, mature, and detail-oriented, with strong instincts for what needs to be done and the initiative to follow through. You're someone who’s willing to make decisions, take ownership, and get things done without needing constant direction.
You’re independent—someone we can confidently hand things off to and know they’ll be handled with care and attention. You take pride in being reliable and organized, and you're comfortable managing systems, staying ahead of tasks, and bringing order to a dynamic family environment.
While this role isn’t centered on childcare, we’d love someone who is kid-aware and family-minded, and who can help coordinate care or assist with logistics if needed. If you are also available for back up child care, that would be ideal! Your primary focus will be the home, but you’ll still be an important part of the rhythm of our family life.
