Job Overview: As a Concrete Coatings Crew Lead, you will oversee a team of concrete coatings installers and ensure the successful completion of projects within specified timelines and quality standards. Your role involves coordinating tasks, providing technical guidance, and promoting a culture of safety and professionalism within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Supervision:

Lead and supervise a team of concrete coatings installers, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and feedback.

Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability among team members.

Project Planning and Coordination:

Collaborate with project managers to plan and schedule coating projects, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and adherence to project timelines.

Allocate manpower and equipment based on project requirements and team capabilities.

Technical Expertise:

Provide technical guidance and training to team members on surface preparation techniques, coating application methods, and quality control measures.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and safety regulations.

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to overcome challenges during project execution.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Implement corrective actions as needed to address deficiencies and improve workmanship.

Maintain documentation of quality control processes and project performance metrics.

Safety and Compliance:

Enforce safety policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols in construction settings

Investigate and report any accidents, incidents, or near misses, and implement preventive measures accordingly.

Client Relations:

Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with project managers to identify opportunities for additional services or upselling to clients.

Communicate project progress, milestones, and any deviations from the original scope to clients in a timely and professional manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in concrete coatings installation, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Thorough understanding of surface preparation techniques, coating materials, and application methods.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Education and Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional training or certification in concrete coatings systems, project management, or leadership is advantageous.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required.

Working Conditions:

Work is typically performed outdoors at construction sites, with exposure to various weather conditions.

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor may be required.

Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate project needs and deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
